Origin and date: According to Bischoff 2004: "Wahrscheinlich Italien, s. VI-2 [...]. Zu einigen Pflanzenbildern Beischriften von mehr als einer Hd. s. IX, z.B. 23r, 26r, 61v, 78r (Tiron. N.). Um 1000 wahrscheinlich in Chartres". - Folio 82 is later added (13th century, probably southern part of German regions, written in littera notula and littera prae-gothica).

Binding: Post-medieval binding. - Rebound (1986): each quire sewn to a folded parchment strip; the strips (filled with cardboard) were sewn together to create the bookblock and attach the parchment spine and two long leather thongs used to lace the wooden boards and also serving as closing ties.
