The additional multispectral images in this digitized version present a selection of material that is based on the multispectral imaging of f. 9v (containing the famous ‘Cennach ind Rúanado’ episode) of manuscript VLQ 7 carried out at Leiden University 4-5 July 2022 by the Lazarus Project under supervision of prof. Gregory Heyworth. The images produced there were subsequently post-processed using various methods by dr. Catherine Albers-Morris (Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY)) and dr. Helen Davies (University of Colorado, Colorado Springs). The details of these processes are described in Stam & 2025, which also contains a diplomatic edition and contextualization of the material. Thanks to the multispectral images and the subsequent post-processing, most of the faded text on f. 9v has been retrieved, and two additional marginalia have been discovered. The various post-processed images presented here all provide different levels of legibility for different sections of the folio, and are intended to ensure reproducibility of the edition provided in Stam & 2025.
