Note | The photographs in this album were commissioned by Francis Frith and were made by Frank Mason Good (1839-1928), who travelled through Egypt and the Near East during the winter of 1866 till spring 1867, without Frith, but with Frank Mason’s sister (to be seen in some of the photographs) amongst others. The album was published under Frith's name in October 1867. |
