Abstract	Majermanikam, alsoo genaamt bij de Malabaren, de bladen van deselve werden gebruijkt om het hooft te wasschen, en doet het haijr groeijen, en een vast couleur houden, verdrijgt oock de Hooftpijn, Zij vallen veel op Negombo. Majermanikam, named by the Malabars. The leaves are used to wash the head, as this stimulates hair growth and keeps the colour stable. It also eases headache. They grow plentiful on Negombo.
