Note	An autograph copy made by the translator in Tunis in 1012 (1604) The original Arabic work bore the title Tuḥfat al-arīb fī r-radd ‘alā ahl aṣ-ṣalīb. The copy was concluded at Tunis during the final days of Z̲ī l-ḥicce 1012 (20-9 May 1604) by the translator Meḥmed b. Şa‘bān.
