Abstract	When finally the dowry is completely transferred, I Wé Cudaiq refuses to become Sawérigading’s wife. The dowry is returned, but after only one day the people of Cina claim that the whole dowry has already been given back. Sawérigading begins a war against Cina and brings Cina under his control. He then transforms himself into a breeze and visits I Wé Cudaiq unnoticed. His twin sister, Wé Tenriabéng, sends the land Malimongeng complete with palace and gardens to earth. Sawérigading marries I Wé Cimpau, queen of Lémpang. Three months later he and I Wé Cudaiq make up and Sawérigading visits her every night for a couple of months.

Langdurig bruikleen van de collectie Boeginese en Makassaarse handschriften van het Nederlands Bijbelgenootschap (NBG) sinds 1905 / Permanent loan of the collections of Buginese and Makassarese manuscripts of the Netherlands Bible Society since 1905. Het Leidse handschrift is het langste doorlopend fragment van La Galigo ter wereld / The Leiden Manuscript is the longest coherent fragment of La Galigo extant in the world. Handschrift staat op UNESCO’s Memory of the World register sinds 2011.
