While the graves of La Urung Mpessi and Wé Pada Uleng are renewed, Sawérigading sets out to visit his fiancée Welléq Ri Cina, the daughter of I La Galigo To Kelling. He reaches Bima and comes to the pao jengki tree in the middle of the sea, with its roots reaching into the underworld and which grows up to the heaven. At the centre of the earth, Sawérigading wages war against Lettéq Warani, unaware of the fact that the latter is a brother of his own grandfather, Batara Guru. The war ends when he learns the true identity of his opponent. Subsequently, Sawérigading wages war against Dettia Pajung, in the land in the West of the centre of the earth, and defeats him. In the underworld Sawérigading moves on to Pamasareng to finally fetch his fiancée.
