| Title | Diagram: lay-out of the city walls of Linzi (Warring States period), the ancient capital of the state of Qi, the city consisting of two enclosures. The larger enclosure is rectangular in shape, appr. 3,300 metres east-west, 5,200 metres north-south, with six gates. At the southwestern corner of the larger enclosure a smaller wall was built, approximately 2,200 metres north-south and 1,400 metres east-west, with five gates. |
