Abstract | Photo taken by Hein van der Voort in Cajuí, the southernmost settlement of the Rio Branco reservation. Konkwat (also known as Antônio Gogó) was Franz Caspar’s highly esteemed consultant. On page 10 of Caspar (1975) he is represented lying in a hammock with his pan-flute. He was also the narrator of most of the stories in Betty Mindlin’s book Tuparis e Tarupás (EDUSP 1993). |
