Bound in gold-embossed dark brown leather with flap (which has come loose) and gold-cum-red tooled insets in Oriental style; glazed white paper; (1)+1 +46+(l) folios; 228x135 mm and 168x76 mm; 17 lines; catchwords; vowelled calligraphic nesih; headings, rubrics, Arabic quotations and multiple borders in red; double gold borders within black and red lines on ff. lb-2a; golden dots (ibidem); a crude headpiece with floral motifs in gold on f. lb; completed on 1 Muharrem 1228 (4 Januaty 1813); without the name of a copyist. Purchased from A.L. van Gendt & Co., Amsterdam, May 1979.
