Rieu, p. 144). It is followed by 58 chapters (kit‘as) in gazel/kasfde format, a second mesnevf on a selection of expressions (istilahat, 34a-39a), and a chronogram (39a-b). The work is followed by another beyt, probably by the copyist, using the pen-name of Gülterï, and five distichs written in the form of a rectangle, in Persian and Turkish, apparently, by Hamï-yi Ümïdï (= Amid! ?) whose name is found between the verses (39b, see plate).
