Dani§mend, Kronoloji III, pp. 209-12). The title is mentioned in a heading preceding the text on f. 47b. The work is described under the title ‘Menakib-i Tiryakt Hasan Pay a' by Levend, Gazavat-ndmeler, p. 101, two manuscripts of which are preserved in Manisa. In the last lines of these manuscripts Ahmed b. ‘Osman b. San! is mentioned as author, but his name is omitted in this copy. As is clear from the text, he was an eye-witness of the events described.
