GAL I, p. 423, S I, p. 750. The title is found in a heading preceding the text on f. 104b. It is preceded by an introduction (104b-106b), including a preface by the translator pointing to the usefulness of the translation for those who do not know Arabic as well as the author’s preface in which the Imam explains, among other things, that the work is an abbreviated version of his Ihyd al-'ulum [ad-din] (104b-106b).
