Cod.Or. 17.143 An owner’s inscription in Turkish The undated manuscript contains an expensively produced, illuminated copy of the Koran. An owner’s inscription (4 lines) in Turkish (with an illegible seal), announcing the birth of a son called Mehmed, on the night of Monday 9 Zfl-hicce 1249 (19 April 1834), is found on the inner back-cover.
