S. I, 670). Whether this was the work by Ibrahim b. 'All ad-SalrazI (d. 476/ 1083) cannot be decided. All MSS. of al-Idah come from Indonesia and most of them have an interlinear translation (in some cases incomplete) in Javanese (MS. KBG 139 Arab., Cat. v. d. Berg p. 122;Br. 396, Suppl. Cat. Batav. no. 462;Bodl. (Uri) no. 253, cf. Add. p. 574 (this is copied from the Amsterdam MS.); and our two copies). MS. Paris, Bibl. Nat., mal. pol. 27 has a Malay translation and so has the Breda fragment. The same is said in CCO 2800 about the copy of the Zeeuwsch Genootschap (which was destroyed during the war) but this is uncertain, as in CCO 2786 De Goeje likewise mentions a "Malay 11 translation which in fact is Javanese.
