A Malay letters (116) in Javanese characters, mostly from the north coast and west coasts of Java; dated between 1820 and 1840; a letter in Jawi script from the Sultan of Banjar to the G.G. dated Bumi Kencana 4 Rabi‘ul-awal 1206/1 November 1791; according to a note by Voorhoeve in Juynboll’s catalogue in the Leiden University Library this letter belongs to Cod.Or. 2239 and has been filed in this portfolio by mistake. B Malay letters (23) and proclamations from Palembang, Jambi, Inderapura, Mempawah, Bali and Teurumon (Aceh) dated between 1790 and 1834; a number of letters are drafts by the Dutch commissioner at Palembang, among them, letters to Sultan Badaruddin and Susuhunan Husin Dhiauddin.
