NVM 2935 ET 42-40-2 Syair cap jiki Scroll; European wove paper; originally pasted together but now fallen apart into 5 ff.; 41 x 6Vi cm.; written on one side; 14 lines per p.; neat writing; the beginning is illuminated; coll, father J.L.H Beijens. The text contains a syair on the gain but in particular on the harm of gambling (cap jiki: a kind of Chinese gambling with cards); by loosing one can sell his child or pawn his wife; Palembang is mentioned in the syair; Batavia or Palembang (?) Malay.
