Kl. 180 Syair kawin Tan Tik Cu ii (+) 48 pp.; machine made paper; 21 x 13 cm.; 21 lines per p.; neat writing; written in two columns; the author is a Malay of Penyengat; the date of copying of a second MS of which the colophon is copied on p. 46 is 14 Dzulkaedah 1277/24 May 1861; by Encik Abdullah of Kampung Bulang (Penyengat). The text, pp. 1-46, contains the story of the wedding of Tan Tik Cu, son of the captain of the Chinese in Penyengat; present at the wedding were members of the Raja Muda family, in particular mentioned Engku Puteri, Resident Wahlbeem and his family, etc.; European dancing, started by the Resident himself, is vividly described, as are also the drunken Dutch people; edited and translated into Dutch with a commentary by R.
