The story of Ratu Agung, ruler of Indera Layangan; a portrait of Princess Kemala Khairani appears to him in a dream and he falls in love with her; in order to be able to marry her, Ratu Agung has to wage war in heaven with her father; many of his men are killed, some by dragons and evil spirits; an old pendeta advises him to go there with his army but by peaceful means; this time he succeeds in marrying the princess; while he is in heaven his country is attacked by rulers who are his subjects; with the aid of his father-in-law’s army of jin and peri he defeats the renegades.
