The text contains the following story, after Raja Dentajaya’s death, Muhammad Hanafiah (a merchant), the wazir, and the menteri have to draw for the crown; between a crown, a book, and a beautiful woman, Muhammad Hanafiah chooses the book, by which (in accordance with the wish of the Sultan of Rum) he becomes a ruler of Sintapuri; he marries Raja Dewi, the late king’s widow, and begets a son; the couple goes on a pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina and see the Prophet Muhammad in their sleep. The text contains the story of Sinyor Kosta (here called Kista), a Portuguese merchant in Batavia, who abducts Lela Mayang, wife of a Chinese Ceng Ko; the language is influenced by the Palembang dialect; used by Van der Linden (1937) and Dumas (1985).
