Also called Hikayat Tuan Telenai; the text contains the story of the origin of name Jambi; Telenai, the ruler of Jambi, puts his son into a chest and casts him into the sea; this son is found and brought up by the ruler of Siam; he goes back to Jambi, conquers the country and kills his father; the story ends with the reign of Sultan Mahmud Fakhruddin.
