Tells the story of a terubuk fish from the waters of Malacca falling in love with a puyu-puyu fish in a pool in the highlands of Siak; as they are of different species, the puyu-puyu, also called puteri, is averse to his advances; the terubuk and other fishes attack the pool but cannot find the princess, who has gone up to heaven by climbing a tree which the gods, her ancestors, had planted in the pool; full of grief the terubuk swims back to Malacca; described and edited as MS B by Meijer (1984).
