The text contains: I ff. 2v-26r: Undang-undang Minangkabau', divided into Fasal pada menyatakan cemo, Undang-undang nan salapan, Pada menyatakan ‘akal; II ff. 26v-27v: Tambo Rajo; about rulers of a number of states (Inderagiri, Palembang, Jambi, Inderapura, Bahantan or Banten ?, Aceh, and Pariaman), supposed to be descendants of the ruler of Pagaruyung; III ff. 27v-28r: Syair; a syair about Negeri t. r. m.; IV ff. 28r-36v: Undang-undang Minangkabau', about crime, etc. Wrongly described as Kitab Fa’al in Van Ronkel 1921, p. 159, no. 367.

Also called Kaba Murai Batw, the story ends with the death of Sutan Barindangan; the princess is here called Rena Cindue Dewi. Van Ronkel 1921, p. 199, no. 489 (wrongly described as Cod.Or. 6109).
