On the left of the leaf appears the address : Monsieur Monsieur Profeser /// Eberhard rau in Herborn. Complicated Ashkenazi cursive script, (cp. N. 90 (OR. 4811), fol. I a ). The letter is dated Friday 7 (??) Iyyar D'^pn (??, 1759). Israel Ezra was probably a printer; typographical matters in connection with the publishing of a book are discussed in this letter.
