Leiden University Libraries Digital Collections

Leiden University Libraries holds extensive special collections that range from East to West and cover many centuries. Selections from this wealth of sources showcase its potential, not only for academic research and education, but also to engage a general audience. Every year the University Library at Witte Singel mounts three exhibitions in the entrance area of the building, and facilitates numerous flash exhibitions in connection with one-day events like symposiums, lectures and presentations. The most attractive of them have been converted to online exhibitions and are brought together in this collection.
